Laser welding technology is prone to the following problems:
1. The high reflectivity of copper products makes it difficult for laser to gather and heat copper. In principle, this is due to the high reflectivity of copper. Therefore, in the general laser welding machine welding copper material products, usually adopts the method of increasing the laser power to overcome the problem of material reflection, to ensure that there is enough material to transfer to the copper, will provide the temperature of the copper material, which reduces the reflectivity of the copper material.
2. It is difficult to mix and variability. Due to the large thermal conductivity of copper, the heat transfer speed will be fast during welding, and the thermal influence area of all welding parts is also large, so it is difficult to mix data together. Moreover, due to the large expansion coefficient of copper, improper clamp strength will lead to data deformation.
3. Stomata are prone to appear. Another important problem occurs when copper welding is the pores, especially when deep melt welding is more serious. There are two main cases of pores, one is the diffusion pores directly caused by hydrogen dissolution in copper, the other is the reaction pores caused by redox reaction.
